THE LAWNS DEMOLITION, ASBESTOS & ENABLING WORKS
Evolution Enabling were tasked with the Demolition, asbestos removal, site setup, hoardings and client mobilisation of the Lawns project.
The lawns was a Six/Seven story building in the centre of Stoke Newington with heavy passing traffic and a school in close proximity.
With a number of pinch points, parts of the demolition were undertaken out of hours and with full road closures.
Both standard and long reach demolition specification excavators were employed to reduce the building down to ground level.
Foundations where excavated down to 7m and broken out and removed. Pile mats where excavated and constructed and a surplus of over 6000m2 of crushed material was removed off site

Orchard Village DEMOLITION, ASBESTOS & ENABLING WORKS
Evolution were tasked with the asbestos removal, demolition and working platform construction. Works also comprised of extensive service and utility investigation to enable demolition works.
Due to various works in the area under previous phases and differing main contractors, the state of existing utilities was unknown. We were therefore employed to undertake detailed exploratory works and provide the client with survey information to enable further design works, disconnections to enable demolition and rerouting of existing utilities.
The project is directly opposite a busy school and within an estate that has been subject to previous high-profile construction works. We employed cutting edge 24hr sound and dust monitoring systems to ensure the nuisance of demolition and construction works were mitigated. The demolition was undertaken using high reach excavators with all materials salvaged for re-use either on site or in the local area.
To date all works have be completed on or ahead of program.

ST LUKE'S DEMOLITION & STRUCTURAL ALTERNATION
We were employed to undertake the demolition and structural alteration of 3 listed buildings to the St Luke’s development in Muswell Hill. Our works included,
The project was extremely complex due to the fact all 3 buildings were listed. The buildings also sat at the entrance point to a major £56m new development posing significant logistical issues.
Due to the complexity of the works we were employed to provide the client with a blank canvas and sound structure to fit out on completion of our works. We therefore undertook the design and management of all temporary façade retention and permanent structural elements.
Our on-site management team had to adapt to the ever-changing scope of works found within complex refurbishment works. Our management team liaised with various other subcontractors on site and worked closely with the main contractor to ensure our work and the logistic constraints on site worked in conjunction with the main development, the project finished on time and on budget

leon House DEMOLITION & structural alteration
Evolution Enabling were employed to undertake specialist demolition and cutting works to an existing 24 storey structure in Croydon High St.
The project was programmed to a tight completion schedule with demolition works programed in and around other trades.
Our on-site Management undertook robotic demolition and concrete cutting to parts of the structure with trades works in in the vicinity.
Our on-site Management and programing of works has been crucial to ensure works are carried out safely with minimum disruption to other trades whilst still achieving the dates required by the MC. Noise, dust and vibration were all being monitored closely to ensure safe working conditions.
We have also undertaken the removal of concrete cladding panels to the exterior of the building on the 23rd floor. The removal of the panels was an extremely high-risk operation with working methods devised, adapted and monitored by our onsite management team.
To date we have also drilled through over 1000lm of concrete for the installation of new services within the building.

HILL, OV4 groundworks, Civils
Evolution where tasked with undertaking the full groundworks package at the Orchard village estate as a follow on to the demolition works already undertaken.
The project was designed using the latest 3D modelling technology, and set out on-site using compatible software.
Full utility infrastructure was installed with large main drain connections, district heating equipment and power networks.
The RC structure itself is large and has been programed to be followed by pre-fabricated units. The program for our works was therefore vital to avoid additional costs to the client for storing of pre-fabricated units.
The main access to the adjacent school was completely removed as part of our works. This road was reconstructed in a different location on site with out of hours works and complex traffic management during the summer break and completed on program.

GMLV, CMS Enabling Works, Civils, earthworks & ground WORKS
Evolution Enabling were employed to undertake a fully encompassing service. This comprised of:
Due to various works in the area under previous phases and differing main contractors, the logistic phase was particularly challenging. However, the spoil removal phase was completed on time and budget without incident.
The site was prepared for the arrival of the new development concierge suite, this comprised of foundations, drainage, car park construction and external landscaping.
Coupled with the contracted work additional works were awarded to facilitate the installation of further district heating networks, power, water and services supplies. These works encompassed detailed traffic management planning with the local authority, the client and the various other contractors in the area.
Deep excavations in the highways were designed, planned and managed to ensure safe works with all 278-works undertaken in house.

HILL, agar grove Demolition, Enabling works, civils, earthworks & groundworks
Evolution were tasked with the asbestos removal, demolition and enabling works at the Agar Grove estate. The works required logistical planning due to the large amount of asbestos present in the buildings and the tight follow on program of the piling.
Demolition works were undertaken using both high reach demolition plant and standard demolition excavators.
All material was crushed for re use on site. As part of the enabling works a reduced level dig was undertaken and contaminated spoils removed from site.
Evolution also undertook the removal of a large number of trees to make way for the new development. The trees are due to be replaced at a later date.
